Located on the second floor of the Regent's Office Meeting Room, Jalan Batu Sisir Bukit Arai, Ranai, Natuna Regent, Wan Siswandi led a coordination meeting with the agenda of Preparing the 78th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, 2023 in Natuna Regency, Wednesday (26/7) morning.
In the meeting, several leadership elements and regional officials were also present, including the Vice Chairman of the Natuna DPRD, Regional Secretary, members of the Forkopimda and leaders of related Regional Apparatus Organisations,
Natuna Regency, which on this occasion discussed the extent of preparations ahead of the Red and White Flag Celebration and Ceremony which will be held on 17 August 2023.
Wan Siswandi explained that for this year Natuna Regency was given the opportunity to host the commemoration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia at the Provincial level, where in future years the determination as host will be carried out in turn for regencies / cities.
To all parties who have been appointed as the organising committee, Wan Siswandi hopes that they can carry out their duties and authorities with full responsibility, and build solid coordination so that the implementation in the field can run smoothly.
To the East Bunguran Sub-District Head as the regional leader of the location of the implementation of activities, it was ordered to mobilise the masses to carry out mutual cooperation by involving the community and various related elements, especially at the main location, as well as roads and the environment of Piwang Beach, Ranai.
To enliven the Indonesian Independence Day this year, the Regional Government is also planning to hold folk entertainment in the form of folk games such as panjat pinang, tug of war and various other entertainment games.
Furthermore, Wan Siswandi also directed the Department of Communication and Information and the Prokopim Section of the Natuna Regency Secretariat to coordinate with RRI Pratama Ranai, so that all information on preparations and plans for activities in this year's RI Anniversary event series can be disseminated.
In addition, considering that lately there have been frequent network disruptions and power generation machines that cause rolling blackouts, the committee was also directed to coordinate with the PLN to be able to accommodate electricity, especially during a series of activities. (Pro_kopim/Irles)
