The Regent of Natuna, represented by the Regional Secretary, Boy WIjanarko Varianto, led a meeting to prepare for the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia in 2023, held in the Meeting Room of the Natuna Regent's Office, Jalan Batu Sisir Bukit Arai, Ranai, on Tuesday (18/07) afternoon.
Attending the meeting were members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum and leaders of relevant Regional Apparatus Organisations.
Boy in his opening remarks, explained that this year's commemoration of the Republic of Indonesia Anniversary, Natuna was designated as the host for the implementation of the Ceremony and the entire series of activities to commemorate the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at the Riau Islands Province level.
For this reason, the preparation for the implementation will also not be the same as the implementation in the previous year, all preparations will be extra so that various possibilities that cause obstacles in the implementation must be analysed and anticipated.
There are several changes to the initial plan, including the transfer of the Paskibraka Inauguration location which was originally going to be held at the Sri Serindit Multipurpose Building and then transferred to the Regional Building, considering that the road to the initial location was in a damaged condition.
In addition, the plan to hold a Development Exhibition which will be centred at the Piwang Beach location will involve local MSMEs. All preparations, both layout planning and various supporting facilities must be prepared as well as possible, especially considering that the rainy season has entered.
On the same occasion, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Marison Chandra Karundeng explained that considering the level of complexity of the preparation of this activity is quite high, he hopes that various technical preparations can be made earlier, so that there is still enough time to evaluate.
One of the concerns is the determination of officers in the ceremony, all officers according to Marison must be properly prepared, both mentally, abilities, and all equipment that will be used in supporting the implementation of their duties later.
This is important considering that all officers, starting from the ceremony officers, ceremony inspectors and all officers in each series of activities will greatly determine the level of wisdom of the commemoration of the 78th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia in 2023.
