Pokjanal Posyandu as a forum for the service team is intended to improve the coordination of guidance, facilitation, and advocacy of health development, directed at increasing awareness, willingness and ability to live healthy for each, with the intention that the highest possible degree of public health can be realised.
So far, the role of Posyandu is very important in early detection of child growth and development as well as being the first and main place to increase education on preventing stunting and other health problems.
This was conveyed by The Acting Regional Secretariat of Natuna Regency, Khaidir in his remarks when chairing the Pokjanal Posyandu Coordination Meeting, which was held in the Meeting Room of the Natuna Regent's Office, Jalan Batu Sisir Buki Arai, on Tuesday (27/06) morning.
Through this coordination meeting, Khaidir hopes that all meeting participants can contribute thoughts and service contributions to optimise the role and function of the Natuna Regency Pokjanal Posyandu.
Attending the event were several leaders and representatives of Regional Apparatus Organisations within the Natuna Regency Government, several sub-district heads, and the Vice Chairperson of the Natuna Regency Pokjanal Posyandu.(Pro_Kopim/Sri)
