The Regional Secretary of Natuna Regency Leads A Meeting with Pertamina University to Discuss The Educational Scholarship Collaboration

On Tuesday Morning (31/01), the Regional Secretary led a virtual follow-up meeting on educational scholarship cooperation with Pertamina University which took place in the video conference room at the Natuna Regent’s office.

The Regional Secretariat Assistant 1 of Natuna Regency, The Branch Head of the Provincial Education Division in Natuna, The Head of the Division of Education of Natuna Regency, The Head of Division of Cooperation of Natuna Regency, The Secretary of Pertamina University and its staff also attended the occasion.

Boy Wijanarko, The Regional Secretary of Natuna Regency, opened the meeting by greeting and thanking the Secretary of Pertamina University and staff for coming to Natuna on the follow up visit of the Vice Regent of Natuna. The Vice Regent had previously initiated educational scholarship cooperation between the Government of Natuna Regency and the Pertamina University.

Boy Wijanarko also stated that the scholarship is a good opportunity for Natuna’s Youths to study at the Pertamina University, which will provide them with knowledge and experience to become a great generation in the future, as well as to improve Natuna human resources, which will, in turn, develop the region.

Boy Wijanarko hoped that the educational scholarship collaboration will take place soon, and reminded that the selection process to determine the scholarship recipients must be transparent, so that students who truly need it and have academic and non-academic achievements are screened.

On this occasion, Pertamina University Secretary, Roby Harvindo stated that all parties at Pertamina University welcomed such good intentions. This scholarship was funded by PT. Pertamina’s CSR Program in 2023 and will be distributed to the Pertamina University Foundation.

Roby also hoped this collaboration to complete quickly, to form the selection committee, to formulate the stages and assessment criteria in the scholarship recipient selection process, which is based on one of the participants’ economic ability levels as well as academic and non-academic abilities.
