On Friday noon (27/01), The Report Evaluation Meeting of The Acceleration of Stunting Reduction was led by The Vice Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda, in the 2nd Floor Meeting Room of The Natuna Regent's Office Floor II, Batu Sisir St. Bukit Arai, Ranai.
Rodhial Huda stated in his speech that seeing progress in the acceleration of the stunting reduction was one of the Central Government's priority programs. To follow up on the preceding, all relevant Heads of Regional Apparatus Organization must participate in accordance with their roles and responsibilities.
The evaluation results showed that the target for reducing stunting is through achievement indicators that appear to have fallen short of the mark. This is due a shortage of extension personnel in terms of either number, ability, or skills. As a result, it is hoped that the related OPDs will focus on increasing the capacity and number of extension workers, allowing the data collection, outreach implementation, and reporting processes to be optimized.
According to Rodhial, the most aspect of collaborative efforts to reduce stunting is how each OPD develops programs that are mutually synergistic and mutually supportive, so that there is no appearance of overlapping authorities. (Pro_Kopim/ Sri)
