The Vice Regent of Natuna Opens MUSRENBANG of East Bunguran District in 2023 for The 2024 Fiscal Year.

The implementation of the Musrenbang is critical in determining the direction of regional development policies, serving as the foundation for the development of activity programs to be implemented by the Regional Government through the APBD im the upcoming 2024 Fiscal Year.

The Natuna Regency development policies for 2024 is focused on efforts to “Increase Community Welfare and Strengthen Governance, supported by Acceleration of the Quality of Human Resources”.

As above was stated by the Vice Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda, when he opened the East Bunguran Sub-District Level Development Planning Meeting, on Monday morning (30/01), in the Hall of Hotel Trend Central, Ranai,

Several officials and invitees attended the occasion, including the Chairman 1 of the Natuna Regency DPRD, Daeng Ganda Rahmatullah, the Sub-District Head of East Bunguran, the Village Heads throughout the East Bunguran Sub-District as well as several community leaders and organizational representatives.

Rodhial went on to say that during the discussion of the proposed program of activities, a priority scale should be established, which would then be agreed upon with the stakeholders.

In addition, the development program must continue to refer to support the realization of the regional development vision and mission 2021-2024, namely “the Realization of Natuna Regency as a Superior, Exotic, Safe Maritime Regency with Economic Independence based on Religious and Cultural Values.”

On a regional scale, the development plan will emphasize efforts to reduce inequality by improving the quality of infrastructure and other utilities, improving the quality of superior Human Resources by increasing access to and services to education and health, increasing the average number of the schools in Natuna, which is currently in grade 3 junior high school or 8.96 /year.

Other efforts have been made to support the foregoing, such as strengthening economic growth by maximizing regional superior resources, improving government governance that is clean, transparent, accountable and high quality, as well as serving the community.

Furthermore, Rodhial emphasized the importance of human resource development related ro the Central Government’s strategic goal of reducing extreme poverty to 0/% in 2024, noting that extreme poverty in Natuna Regency is 2.65% in 2022.

Similarly, stunting, a national priority which must be emphasized, with the goal of reaching 14% by 2024, while the prevalence rate of stunting in Natuna Regency in 2022 is 18%.

According to Rodhial, this is not an easy task, considering the budget constraints that have plagued the last two years.

As a result, in accordance with the 2024 RKPD Theme, synergy, coordination and a long process are required, as well as the support of all elements of society in realizing prosperity,

On this occasion, The Sub-District Head of East Bunguran, Hamid Asnan, reported that the various activity programs proposed in this activity were a recapitulation of previous proposals for MUSRENBANG at the sub-district and village levels.

Hamid admitted that no detailed information on the proposals to be submitted this year has been provided. As a result, it is expected that this year’s proposals will be mostly the same as last year’s, with the exception of proposing follow-up program activities in 2024 that were not completed in 2022-2023.

Hamid also expressed his gratitude to the Heads of Urban Villages and and Villages for the advice given, despite not all of them was unable to be fulfilled by his party. (Pro_kopim/D)
