On Tuesday Morning (24/01), the Government of Natuna and the Natuna District Prosecutor's Office signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Handling of Legal Issues in the Civil and State Administrative Sector, at the Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of the Natuna Regent's Office,
The Vice Regent of Natuna, the Regional Secretary and several Heads of related Regional Apparatus Organizations also attended the occasion.
The Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, in his speech stated that this activity was a follow-up to assistance efforts to prevent violations of civil and state administrative law in the implementation of governance and regional development.
Wan Siswandi values the cooperation that has existed between the local government and the Ranai State Prosecutor's Office, allowing efforts to prevent law violations to be carried out more effectively, through legal assistance in the planning, realization and monitoring stages of regional development.
Wan Siswandi also advised all Heads of Regional Government Organizations that in carrying out their duties they must always rely on technical guidelines as well as applicable laws and regulations, so that violations of the law are avoided.
Imam MS Sidabutar, Head of the Natuna District Prosecutor's Office, also stated that the MoU would serve as the foundation for his party to continue providing assistance, as well as take needed steps to resolve various legal issues related to regional development implementation.
According to the mutual agreement, Imam also stated that the existence of a mutually agreed MoU will intensify coordination with the Regional Government, particularly in joint efforts to prevent law violations in the civil and administrative fields. (Pro_kopim/Sri)
