Achieving the Unqualified Opinion For 5 Consecutive Years, The Regent of Natuna Hopes The 2022 Local Government Financial Statements Obtains the Same Predicate in Regional Financial Management.

The Financial Management of Regional Government BPKPD) of Natuna Regency held Assistance, Reconciliation and Preparation of Financial Statements for Fiscal Year 2022 which was officially opened by the Regent of Natuna, Wan Siswandi, Wednesday morning (4/01), at the Women’s Building of Natuna Regency, Batu Sisir St. Bukit Arai, Ranai.

The Vice Regent of Natuna, The Regional Secretary, Heads of the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD), Heads of Finance, PPK/The Expenditure Treasurer and Goods Administrators from all Regional Apparatus Organizations also attended the occasion.

The activity is planned to last approximately 10 days (from 4 January to 14 January 2023).

Wan Siswandi, in his speech stated the implementation of the Local Government Financial Statements (LKPD) is the implementation of Government Regulation No 12 of 2019 concerning the Regional Financial Management Article 191 Paragraph (2), LKPD is submitted to the Audit Board no later than 3 (three) months after the end of the Fiscal Year.

However, Wan Siswandi added that LKPD became his responsibility as the Regional Head for the use of the annual Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) as stated in Government Regulation No. 71 of 2010 concerning Government Accounting Standards.

He opined; the Natuna Regency Government must have felt grateful considering for 5 consecutive years (from 2017 to 2021) Natuna has achieved the Unqualified Opinion (WTP/the highest predicate of audit result) from the Audit Board Representative of Riau Islands Province.

This success is the result of hard work and solid cooperation of all related elements. Wan Siswandi hoped the Unqualified Opinion could still be achieved as a form of transparent and accountable regional financial management.

He also explained that each region was asked to submit the Local Government Financial Statements no later than the fourth week of January or the first week of February 2023 the first week.

So, it is hoped that all leaders of Regional Apparatus Organizations and elements involved in the Regional Apparatus Work Units (SKPD) Financial Management to able to do the tasks well.

Not only about the Local Government Financial Statements, Wan Siswandi also mentioned one of the current development priorities is the Human Development Index (IPM). To actualize this, there are several policies, such as proposing cooperation with the State Electricity Company (PLN) through a free technical school scholarship in the electricity sector, and then the local people can be empowered to work for the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN).

Wan Siswandi accompanied by The Vice Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda submitted the Budget Implementation Document (DPA) to all OPD Heads of the Natuna Regency Government, and signed the Performance Agreement for Fiscal Year 2023. (Pro_kopim/Irsyan)
