The Vice Regent of Natuna Attends 2022 Ketupat Operation Troops Ceremony

Welcoming the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1443 H/2022 CE, Natuna Resort Police (Polres) carries out 2022 Ketupat Operation Troops Ceremony holds at Natuna Regency Police Station, Ranai, Friday Morning (22/04).

The Vice Regent of Natuna acts as the Inspector of Ceremonies to deliver the written mandate from Chief of the Indonesian National Police. The mandate states the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), Regional Government, and other relevant stakeholders will be involved in the security of Eid al-Fitr, this year.

Ketupat operation, which will be held from April 28th to May 9th 2022, concentrates on protecting places of worship, shopping centers, tourist attractions, airports and ports from security threats.

Chief of the Indonesian National Police, in his speech mentions some emphasis as guidances in order to support the success of 2022 Ketupat Operation.

These emphasis, among others, for officers to stay physically and mentally healthy during Ketupat Operation and to carry out screenings for the early detection of developing dynamics, so predictive and preventive measures can be taken.

However, to carry out safety measures in a professional and humanistic way, to deliver excellent service to local community and to place personnel in either traffic accident, crime,or traffic jam prone areas so the parties involved can take immediate actions needed to ensure the safety of people and the environment.

In carrying out Ketupat Operation, it is hoped to coordinate with the COVID-19 Task Force, to constantly alert the public to comply with suitable health protocols so can help suppress the spread of COVID-19, to urge the managers of red areas correspond to potential hotspots of large gatherings, to install and implement the PeduliLindungi Apps.

Chief of the Indonesian National Police also urges The Food Task Force (Satgas Pangan) to ensure basic food availability, to maintain price stability, to work together to achieve more synergy, to enhance solidarity, and, last but not least to combine vision, mission, and goals for the successful implementation.

Chief of the Indonesian National Police sincerely hopes the entire security forces involved are able to cooperate and work together so the implementation of Ketupat Operation can run as expected and provide the sense of safety and comfort to local community.

Chief of the Natuna Regency Police (Kapolres), several members of the Regional Leadership Coordinating Forum (Forkopimda), and the Head of the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) of Natuna Regency Government also attend the occasion. (Pro_kopim/Ys).
