Natuna Regent Cen Sui Lan welcomed Pedro Rizki Alda, a young man from Natuna who has successfully passed the selection process for a scholarship from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).
During the meeting, Cen Sui Lan expressed her appreciation and pride in Pedro’s achievement. He scored a total of 230 points, placing him ahead of candidates from several other regencies.
Cen Sui Lan said that Natuna’s geographical conditions, including its location in a border area and the long distances between regions, should not stop young people from achieving their goals and competing with students from other areas.
“Long distances and our location in a border area should never stop Natuna’s young people from achieving success. Pedro’s achievement shows that young people from Natuna have great ability and potential,” she said.
She also hoped that Pedro’s success would inspire other students in Natuna to keep learning, improve their skills, and have the confidence to compete in pursuing their dreams.
According to her, Natuna’s young people are smart and have great potential to grow. Therefore, they should make the most of every opportunity to continue their education and gain knowledge.
“Natuna has many bright young people. I hope more of them will achieve success like Pedro, and even reach greater achievements in the future,” she added.
Pedro Rizki Alda’s achievement is expected to show that young people from border areas can also compete and succeed at a wider level. His success is also a source of pride for the people of Natuna.
