In her remarks, Cen Sui Lan congratulated the newly inaugurated FKUB and FPLA boards and expressed hope that both organizations would work closely together to preserve and strengthen religious harmony throughout Natuna.

She emphasized that interfaith harmony is a vital foundation for regional stability and social unity in a diverse society. In this regard, FKUB and FPLA play a strategic role in fostering peaceful coexistence and maintaining social cohesion.

The Regent also encouraged the two forums to serve as platforms for dialogue among religious leaders, community figures, and faith-based organizations, helping to gather and channel public aspirations. She noted that the outcomes of these discussions could provide valuable recommendations for regional policymakers.

In addition, Cen Sui Lan expressed hope that the Interfaith Youth Forum would become a driving force in promoting tolerance among younger generations, strengthening solidarity, and helping prevent social conflict within the community.

Speaking at the event, Natuna Ministry of Religious Affairs Head Subandi described the establishment of FPLA as a strategic effort to instill the values of religious moderation, tolerance, and national unity among young people as future leaders of regional development.

The inauguration of the FKUB for 2025–2030 and the FPLA for 2026–2028 is expected to strengthen cooperation between the local government, religious leaders, and youth communities in promoting a peaceful, harmonious, and united Natuna. Prokopim/S
