The Deputy Regent of Natuna, Jarmin, SE, paid a courtesy visit to the Command Headquarters (Mako) of the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) of Natuna Regency on Tuesday morning (27/01).
The visit aimed to observe the internal conditions of Satpol PP firsthand while strengthening coordination and institutional discipline among its personnel.
The activity took place at the Natuna Regency Satpol PP Headquarters and was attended by all State Civil Apparatus (ASN) personnel of Satpol PP. The Deputy Regent was warmly received by the leadership of Satpol PP along with all on-duty personnel.
During the visit, the Deputy Regent conducted an on-site inspection of the headquarters building, including supporting facilities and infrastructure used in daily operations. This inspection was intended to ensure that existing facilities adequately support the optimal performance of Satpol PP in carrying out its duties.
In addition to the inspection, the Deputy Regent also delivered guidance and direction to all Satpol PP personnel. In his remarks, he emphasized that discipline is the fundamental pillar in carrying out duties as enforcers of regional regulations.
According to him, Satpol PP plays a strategic role in maintaining public order and enforcing regional regulations. Therefore, every officer must uphold discipline, professionalism, integrity, and accountability in fulfilling the responsibilities entrusted to them.
The Deputy Regent also reminded all Satpol PP members to maintain unity and teamwork, continuously improve the quality of public services, and uphold ethical standards and integrity while performing their duties.
Through this visit, it is hoped that the performance of Natuna Regency Satpol PP will continue to improve and that the unit will be able to carry out its functions optimally in supporting public order, security, and community comfort throughout Natuna Regency, in accordance with its mandated roles and responsibilities.
