Natuna Regent Attends 2025 Graduation of Natuna Elderly School

Natuna Regent Cen Sui Lan attended the 2025 Graduation Ceremony of the Natuna Elderly School, Riau Islands Province, held on Tuesday morning (30/12) at the Sisi Basisir Restaurant, Ranai.

In her remarks, the Regent highlighted that active, productive, and enthusiastic senior citizens reflect a strong spirit of independence and a meaningful approach to life. She noted that this energy should inspire people of productive age to remain motivated, creative, and actively involved—within their families, communities, and in supporting regional development.

Cen Sui Lan congratulated and thanked all graduates of the Elderly School, particularly participants from the Family Development for the Elderly (BKL) groups of Tapau Village and Batubi Jaya Village.

She also shared her personal happiness at being able to gather with elderly residents who, despite being over 60 years old, continue to show remarkable enthusiasm and positive energy—an encouraging example of how motivation and optimism can carry people forward in later stages of life.

The Regent explained that the Elderly School is designed to foster resilient, independent, and productive senior citizens. Recognizing its positive impact, she affirmed that the Natuna Regency Government will continue to support constructive programs organized through this platform.

The event was also attended by the Regional Secretary, sub-district heads, village heads, urban ward leaders, and members of the Family Welfare Empowerment Team (PKK). (Pro_Kopim/D&S).
