As part of her series of official visits to several districts, the Regent of Natuna, accompanied by the Deputy Regent, members of the local parliament (DPRD), FKPD, heads of regional government agencies, the Regional Development Acceleration Team (TPPD), and several banking representatives, arrived in Pulau Panjang District on Saturday morning (29/11).
During the visit, Regent Cen Sui Lan and her delegation attended a meet-and-greet session with subdistrict officials and the local community, held at the Pulau Panjang Multi-Purpose Hall.
In her remarks, Cen Sui Lan expressed her delight, noting that this was her first opportunity to visit Pulau Panjang since assuming office as Regent.
She went on to explain that Pulau Panjang has been designated as one of the locations for the establishment of an Outer Island Nutritional Service Unit (SPPG), a key program under President Prabowo Subianto’s Asta Cita development agenda.
The presence of the SPPG is expected to help fulfill nutritional needs—especially for school-aged children—while also opening new opportunities for local economic development.
During the same event, the Regent symbolically handed over several forms of assistance to the community, including rice aid, Digital Interactive Devices (PID) or smart TVs for educational support, zakat mal donations, BLTS assistance, and BPJS Employment cards.
Following the gathering, the Regent and her entourage visited the Affordable Food Movement activity taking place at the district hall, aimed at stabilizing food prices and supporting community needs. (Pro_kopim/Arf)
