At the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) Laboratory of SMA Negeri 1 Bunguran Timur, Vice Regent of Natuna Jarmin officially opened the Assessment of Potential and Competence (Pro ASN) for civil servants within the Natuna Regency Government on Monday morning (17/11).
In his opening remarks, Jarmin expressed his hope that all participating civil servants would show their true abilities throughout the phased assessment. He highlighted that the results will play an important role in developing a talent management system, which is a key part of implementing the Merit System.
The Merit System is a framework for civil service policies and management that emphasizes fairness and objectivity in recruitment, promotion, and career development—based on qualifications, competencies, and performance—without discrimination related to ethnicity, religion, race, gender, or other subjective factors.
He also encouraged all participants to take the tasks and test questions seriously, as the results will form each participant’s talent profile. With this, he hopes the Natuna Regency Government will, in the future, have a strong and reliable database of competent bureaucratic talent.
