Opening of the 2025 Paskibraka Training Camp: Vice Regent Hopes Participants Will Be Better Prepared to Support the 80th Independence Day Commemoration of the Republic of Indonesia

On Friday afternoon (August 1st), at the 2nd Floor Hall of the Hajj Dormitory, Natuna Gerbang Utaraku Complex, Ranai, Vice Regent of Natuna, Jarmin, SE, officially opened the Centralized Education and Training (Diklat) Program for the 2025 Natuna Regency National Flag Hoisting Troop (Paskibraka).

In his speech, Jarmin expressed his pride and high hopes for the participants, who are selected students from various schools across Natuna Regency.

He emphasized that this moment is not merely about physical training, but also a process of character-building, discipline, and instilling a sense of nationalism.

Jarmin added that becoming part of the Paskibraka is an honor not everyone gets to experience. Therefore, he urged all participants to maintain and continue nurturing a strong sense of patriotism, while upholding the values of unity and togetherness amidst diversity.

He encouraged all participants to follow the entire training program with enthusiasm and discipline, to heed all instructions from the mentors and trainers, so that the Natuna Regency Paskibraka will be well-prepared to fulfill their duties during the Proclamation Ceremony and Flag Lowering Ceremony on Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day in 2025.

The opening ceremony was marked by the symbolic presentation of participant badges by the Deputy Regent to a representative of the Paskibraka participants, signifying the official start of the training program.

This training is scheduled to run for 14 days leading up to the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia. It will involve trainers from the military and police (TNI/Polri), former Paskibraka members, and support staff from the relevant government agencies.

Also in attendance at the event were the Regional Secretary of Natuna Regency, members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), Paskibraka trainers, former Paskibraka members, and heads of regional government agencies within the Natuna Regency Government.
