Sending Off 57 Prospective Hajj Pilgrims from Natuna, Natuna Regional Secretary: Take Care of Your Health, May You Attain a Mabrur Hajj

One of the key points that must be emphasized to the prospective Hajj pilgrims (JCH) is the difference in climate and weather. The Holy Land is known for its hotter conditions, which often lead to dehydration and respiratory issues. Therefore, it is crucial for the pilgrims to maintain their health in order to be able to perform the entire Hajj pilgrimage properly.

This was conveyed by the Regional Secretary of Natuna Regency, Boy Wijanarko Varianto, during his speech at the official send-off ceremony for the 1446 Hijri/2025 AD Hajj season pilgrims from Natuna.

The event took place on Tuesday morning (April 29) at Baitul Izza Mosque, Islamic Centre, Natuna Gerbang Utaraku Complex, Ranai. It was attended by several government officials, including the chair and members of the Natuna Regency DPRD, heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD), Hajj organizing committee members, family members of the pilgrims, and the pilgrims themselves.

Boy Wijanarko expressed his hopes that all the pilgrims would maintain solidarity among one another, follow the guidance of the Hajj mentors, perform all the rituals of Hajj sincerely, and ultimately be granted the title of Hajj Mabrur (an accepted and blessed pilgrimage).

On the same occasion, Assistant I of the Natuna Regional Secretariat and Chair of the Natuna Hajj Committee, Khaidir, reported that a total of 57 prospective Hajj pilgrims from Natuna Regency will depart this season. The pilgrims come from several sub-districts: Bunguran Timur (31 people), Bunguran Barat (2), Bunguran Utara (5), Bunguran Timur Laut (2), Pulau Laut (3), Midai (2), Serasan (9), Pulau Tiga (2), and 1 regional Hajj officer.

Khaidir also reported that the entire group of pilgrims departed from Natuna to Batam Embarkation on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, via Nam Air. They will join other pilgrims from all regencies/cities of the Riau Islands Province at the Hajj Dormitory in Batam City. (Pro_kopim/sri)
