Ramadan Safari in Air Lengit Village: Deputy Regent of Natuna Seeks Support from All Development Sectors

Held at Baiturrohim Mosque in Air Lengit Village, Bunguran Tengah District, the Deputy Regent of Natuna, Jarmin, SE, accompanied by the Chairperson of the TP PKK of Natuna Regency and his entourage, visited as part of the Natuna Regency Government’s 1446 Hijri Ramadan Safari on Thursday night (March 20).

Among those accompanying the delegation were the Chairperson of the Natuna Regency DPRD, the Regional Secretary, several members of Forkopimda, Assistant I, several heads of Regional Government Organizations, the head of Bank Riau Kepri Ranai Branch, and a representative from PT. Medco Energy.

From the host’s side, attendees included the Bunguran Tengah District Head and staff, the Chairperson of the Bunguran Tengah TP PKK, Bhabinkamtibnas, the Village Head, members of the Village Consultative Body (BPD), and mosque congregants.

The Ramadan Safari activities began with a communal iftar, followed by Maghrib and Isha prayers. After performing Taraweeh together, the event continued with an Islamic sermon (tausiyah).

On this occasion, the Deputy Regent of Natuna symbolically handed over essential food aid packages from PT. Bankriau Kepri and PT. Medco Energy to representatives of underprivileged communities.

In his speech, Jarmin expressed his gratitude for being able to carry out the 21st night of the Ramadan Safari. He also thanked the hosts for their warm welcome and hospitality.

Jarmin further stated that within his first month in office, it is his duty as a regional leader to listen to, absorb community concerns and aspirations, and take responsibility for finding solutions to existing problems.

Additionally, he encouraged all parties to support one another through their respective roles and functions, emphasizing that development is not solely the responsibility of the regional government but requires collective awareness and participation from all stakeholders.

Earlier, the Bunguran Tengah Sub-District Head, Suhandrik, expressed his gratitude to the leadership and delegation of the 1446 Hijri Ramadan Safari from the Natuna Regency Government for including Air Lengit Village in their visit.

He noted that this event holds great significance for the community, serving as both a gesture of care and a means to strengthen ties. It also provides an excellent opportunity for residents to engage more closely with the government and voice their aspirations. (Pro_kopim/Patli)
