Located in the Meeting Room of the Natuna Regent’s Office, Floor ll, Jalan Batu Sisir, Bukit Arai, Bunguran Timur District, Tuesday, (04/02) morning, the Natuna Regency Regional Government held a discussion meeting related to Presidential Instruction No. 1 of 2025 regarding the efficiency of spending in the APBN and APBD in 2025.
The meeting was chaired by the Regional Secretary of Natuna Regency, Boy Wijanarko Varianto, and attended by all leaders of Regional Apparatus Organisations within the Natuna Regency Government.
Boy Wijanarko said in his opening remarks that Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2025 clearly explained the order that all regional heads, starting from the Governor, Regent/Mayor level, could implement budget efficiency measures.
The efficiency measures include limiting expenditure on ceremonial activities, studies, comparative studies, printing, publications, and seminars, reducing official travel expenditure by 50 per cent, limiting honorarium expenditure, reducing supporting expenditure that has no measurable output and focusing budget allocations on public service performance targets.
In order to realise the above orders, adjustments will be made to the 2025 APBD, it is hoped that all activities to be carried out by OPD will continue to run effectively and on target, despite budget cuts in several sectors. This will also be adjusted to the vision and mission of the elected regional head as a priority that must be held.
To all OPD leaders, Boy appealed to immediately implement budget efficiency, focus and prioritise so that work programs and the running of the wheels of government can be carried out properly. (Pro_Kopim/Sri)
