The Regent of Natuna, represented by Assistant I for Government Affairs, Khaidir. Attended the Appreciation Summit of the 2025 Generation Planning Ambassador Selection, held at the Sri-Serindit Ranai Building Hall, Wednesday (22/01) morning.
Khaidir stated in his speech that the Government continues to prepare a healthy young generation, avoiding various teenage problems and making productive and qualified teenagers to achieve the demographic bonus towards the Golden Indonesia 2045.
The government also conducted various programmes to develop and foster the quality of adolescents. One of them is through the Genre programme which was developed in the context of family preparation for adolescents so that they are able to continue their education, career and marriage with full planning through the youth counseling information centre (PIK-Remaja).
Furthermore, Khaidir also conveyed that to find skilled and character motivator figures from members of the youth counseling information centre, the Genre Ambassador election was held, the District winner will also represent Natuna Regency to the Riau Islands Provincial level election and then up to the National Level Genre election.
On the same occasion, the Head of the Office of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning, Sri Riawati, reported that this activity increased the socialisation and promotion of the Genre program among adolescents as well as increasing knowledge, attitudes and positive behaviour in self-development with character and integrity.
She also emphasised that Genre Ambassadors must be able to develop a positive image of the Genre programme by preparing figures with work ethic, integrity and a spirit of gotong royong and become role models for peers.
