Located at RM. Sisi Basisir, Ranai, on Monday (09/12) morning, the Vice Regent of Natuna, Rodhial Huda officially opened the Women’s Economic Improvement Training. Also present on the occasion were the Head of the Women’s Empowerment Service, DWP Representative, Head of Organisation and several representatives from the women’s community, the religious assembly and training participants.
Rodhial Huda stated in his speech that in this era of women’s emancipation, many female figures today play a much bigger role in the household, including supporting efforts to improve the economy by seeking additional income.
Rodhial hoped that this activity would support the realisation of women’s independence, one of which is by having the ability to process household waste into marketable products.
In the long term, it is hoped that with women’s participation in managing the family economics, it will suppress the extreme poverty rate nationally, especially in Natuna Regency.
Furthermore, the Head of BKMT Natuna Regency, Socialina, stated that this event was attended by all representatives of the Association of Women’s Organisations in Natuna Regency, Majelis Taklim and BKMT congregation in Natuna Regency.
Furthermore, Socialina also pointed out that the activity, which was supported by the Women’s Empowerment Office and the Sehati Environmental Community Organisation, focused on the use of household waste management in increasing the economic value of households.
The speakers presented in this activity include the Head of the Natuna Regency Women’s Empowerment, Child Protection and Family Planning Office, Sri Riawati, who will discuss Regional Government Policy in improving women’s economy.
Also present was the Chairperson of the Sehati Environmental Community, Hazriani, who will discuss Women and Ecoenzyme. There will be a hands-on session on making soap from enzyme utilisation. (Pro_kopim/Patli)
