The Regent of Natuna, represented by the Assistant of the Natuna Regency Secretariat Government, Khaidir, chaired the Child Friendly Regency Task Force Team Meeting, held at the Second Floor Meeting Room of the Natuna Regent’s Office, Batu Sisir Bukit Arai, Ranai, Bunguran Timur District, Friday (14/06) morning.
Before he continued his remarks, Khaidir apologized to all participants of the meeting, which was initially scheduled to be chaired directly by the Regent of Natuna, but due to several agendas at the same time, he was entrusted to chair the meeting this time.
Additionally, Khaidir also expressed his appreciation to the speakers who will deliver several materials related to joint efforts in realizing Natuna as a Child Friendly District.
The material presented later is expected to become a joint discussion module, which in the future will become a reference for joint work programs that will be implemented in the field according to the duties and functions of each task force.
Furthermore, the Young Expert Self-Help Activist of Riau Islands Province, Annas Rustam Aji, reported that the purpose of organizing a Child Friendly District is to enhance commitment in achieving child-centred development, implementing policies through the formulation of strategies and planning for districts / cities in a planned, comprehensive and sustainable manner and strengthening the role and capacity of district / city governments.
Attending the event were members of the Natuna Regency Child Friendly District Task Force, including most representatives of Regional Apparatus Organizations within the Natuna Regency Government. (Pro_kopim/D&S)
